KINYA! EXCELLENT JOB! Service, food, decor was all just amazing. We came in super late (sorry) we were at the springs all day and starving! There was only like 3 other tables considering how close it was to close (sorry again). Phoebe, our server, was kind and quick. The food runner as well was super helpful. All the food was amazing, the Naruto roll was a cucumber wrapped roll with fresh fish & ponzu sauce. Delish and fresh! The Kinya roll is a must do when there, it's got a little bit of everything & EDIBLE GOLD! I was blown away! Everything came out so fast and fresh. The tonkatsu ramen was flavorful and filling as well. Just overall an amazing experience. Thank you for accommodating us!

This place is amazing. The appetizers and ramen bowls were simply delicious. The best thing by far was the Taro milk tea, it is the best taro milk tea I have ever had. 10/10 will come here every time I'm in Gainesville.

I have been waiting for Gainesville to have a good Ramen place! This is it! My husband and I tried Kinya for the first time this past Friday and it did not disappoint. For a starter we had the spicy Korean wings and they were delicious and flavorful. For entree's I had the Kinya ramen with pork and my husband had the spicy ramen with pork both were super tasty! The service was great, fast, and efficient. The ambiance was straight out of an anime! So many anime characters to look at in the decor! I am glad that his Ramen place exists. I will return!

This place has catapulted itself as one of my favorites in Gainesville. Their Ramen at the time of writing is easily my favorite and it's nearly every week I find myself returning. The restaurant has fun anime references all over and a kind staff. The Spicy Ramen with Pork does NOT MISS. It's my go to and while I want to try more I keep craving this one.

Coming from Japan this is probably not the best Ramen you've ever had, but it's damn good. It's definitely the best soup you're gonna get in Gainesville. Services is great, the Sushi is good and everything is reasonably priced.

I get my food from Kinya to go, but the restaurant is large with a lot of seating. The hostesses at the front desk/cash register area area are always very pleasant. Tonight I got the edamame appetizer, the Naruto roll and the Yama roll. For $5 the edamame wasn't bad but it seemed a bit undercooked and was not as hot as usual. They are not overly salty when I get them if this is a typical concern. The Naruto roll, multiple fish in cucumber instead of seaweed and rice, was beautiful and the fish was glistening. I've had Naruto that has fallen apart when picking it up because the cucumber isn't cut properly. Nothing fell apart on this one. The technique was perfect. Kudos to the sushi chef! The Yama roll is a new one for me. I don't typically choose salmon over tuna. The yellowtail on top was very tender. It mentioned it had ponzu sauce but I tasted something smoky rather than citrusy and the salmon wasn't spicy. It wasn't bad but was not quite what the description said. Overall, I'll get more sushi there!!

Do you want a really good Raman? Well this is definitely a place for you. When me and my family went there want wanted to try this place manly for the Raman but we ended up getting other things and we were very pleased with our choices. First we got appetizers. The potstickers which came with a sauce that was a teriyaki/honey sauce. It definitely made the potstickers on point. Then we got the pork buns, they were delicious to me, my family said otherwise so it's definitely something you need to try for yourself to see if you like it. And we also got the wings which were garlic, soy flavored. I enjoyed the way the outside melted in my mouth. Next the entrees. We got the Raman, I got the wonton Raman it was big enough that I could have shared it. I definitely loved and enjoyed it the wonton in it. It was juicy and delicious I loved to add some extra sauce like soy sauce. I would probably get it again next time. We also got the miso Raman. I Thought it was all around good. Also the waiter was very nice and always came to ask how we were. And it looked very cool in the place, it looked very clean and nice. So if you like Raman and anime, this is definitely a place for you!

I had the Tonkotsu Ramen. It was delicious. The broth was flavorful and not thin. All the other ingredients in the ramen were tasty and delicious. This was first time at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Will be going again soon. The service was great, the ambiance was quite nice.

Hands down my favorite roll is the Godzilla which is unusual since I don't usually like fried rolls. It is a mouthful, but the batter is nice and thin. Takoyaki (octopus balls) were good but undercooked inside both ties I've had them. Rainbow roll was okay, it's a simple roll and mostly relies on the fish itself for flavor. Not great, not bad. Writing this review, weeks after my first visit, I actually forgot we had the ramen until I saw the photo, I guess I could say it was forgettable. Ambiance and service are fine, as long as you aren't expecting a fancy, date-night type place. Simple, kind, and respectful that's all I really need from staff and it checked all those boxes for me.
